Monarch is a fully independent passion project, conceived in December of 2022, and set for production in 2025. Eponymous to the comic's title, the process of "The Monarch" is an acknowledgement of past, an unraveling of present, and a magnification of future. Enduring the Monarch is Lily. Throughout, she attempts recall, in an effort to understand and, therefore, heal, from an event unknown to her, which occurred 9 years prior.

Triggering elements which may arise include (but do not limit themselves to) dissociation, derealization, sparce violence/gore, and hallucinations. If these disturb you, please read with caution, or do not read at all. Pages will be individually tagged for these topics, as well as other one-offs, such as bright colors (desaturated/low contrast alternatives will be provided).
